BURGER CASSEROLE
This cheeseburger casserole is a hearty, flavorful twist on a classic burger—all baked in a cast iron pan! Layers of ground beef, cheese, and crispy bacon come together for a rich, satisfying meal. Topped with olives, avocado, and mustard, it’s the ultimate bunless burger experience in casserole form!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)

6–8 slices cooked bacon

¼ cup sliced black olives
-
1 avocado, chopped

Yellow mustard (to taste)
Optional:

Seasonings for the beef (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder)

Pickles, sautéed onions, or other favorite burger toppings

Instructions:
1. Build the Casserole Base:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large cast iron skillet (or baking dish), press a layer of seasoned ground beef into the bottom.
Top with a generous layer of shredded cheese and bacon slices.

2. Layer & Bake:
Add another layer of ground beef on top of the bacon.
Repeat with more shredded cheese and bacon.
Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked through.

3. Final Toppings & Bake Again:
Remove from oven and top with sliced black olives and a final layer of shredded cheese.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5–8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

4. Garnish & Serve:
Top with chunks of avocado and drizzle with mustard.
